Toyota Kaikan is a museum that was built by Toyota, and it's located near Toyota head office. Admission of museum is free, and Visitors can participate the factory tour if they had booked in advance. Since the display items are fully equipped, the museum is a typical tour destination by people came to Toyota City.
In the museum, Toyota's history and many Technologys that is developed by Toyota are exhibited. Technologys of fuel cell vehicle and hybrid vehicle are typical examples. Mirai that is most early released fuel cell vehicle in the world is proudly exhibited in best place of the museum.
Futhermore, the-state-of-the-art cars that were made by Toyota (For example, Lexus RCF, Crown, Land Cruser, Prius PHV) are exhibited in museum. Although it is impossible to start the engine, Visitors can freely touch the car.
