Osaka Sta. is most biggest station in west Japan. The average number of passengers reaches four hundred and twenty thousand per a day. The station is located in Umeda, Osaka. Umeda is area of dense skyscrapers, and there is called "Kita" by Osaka people. Because other railway operator's stations (Hankyu, Hanshin, Osaka Municipal Subway) are also present in the surrounding of Umeda Station, Umeda is hub of transportation.

A large roof that made by iron frames is a feature. Thanks to the roof, People who are in station platform are protected from wind and rain. From the station platform, trains bound for West and Central Japan's citys (Kyoto, Kobe, Kanazawa, etc.) depart. However, a platform of shinkansen is not exist at Osaka station. In order to ride a shinkansen, people who want to ride a shinkansen must go to Shin-Osaka station.

The surrounding of Umeda Station is largely developping from 2000s, And this development will continue to 2020s. By this development, Umeda Station and the surrounding of it are changed to futuristic city. The station is connected to a huge electronics retailer's building (Yodohashi Camera), a huge commercial facilities (Grand Front Osaka), and department stores (Hankyu, Hanshin, Daimaru). Therefore, this area is convenience to shopping.
